Exceptional Stay with an Outstanding Host
We had a fantastic time during our 2-night stay! The attention to detail in the room was impressive, from the Aesop toiletries to the super comfortable king-size bed. The communal Den area was perfect for enjoying a delightful continental breakfast, and Dannii's warm hospitality really made us feel welcomed throughout our visit. The location next to the golf course provided a lovely backdrop, making it idyllic for relaxation after exploring Edinburgh. While it’s a bit away from the city center, the park and ride nearby makes commuting easy.

A delightful escape from the city 🌿
We were just blown away by the stunning decor, and getting to chill at the pool table in the communal area was a blast! Plus, Dannii's personalised tips for nearby spots made our stay feel extra special. That brekkie was defs a shocker, everything you want and more!
Just a small hiccup, the room took a bit to warm up when we got there.

Exceptionally warm hospitality from the owners.
During my stay, I found the room to be uncomfortably cold upon arrival, taking quite some time to heat up. It would have been nice if the heating had been adjusted before I checked in to ensure a warm welcome. I was disappointed with the lack of a cooked breakfast option, as it was something I usually expect when staying at a bed and breakfast. I struggled to find BBC channels on the TV because there were no instructions available to help operate it, which added to the frustrations of my stay.

so i stayed at the coach house for 3 nights, and let me just say, the bathroom light from the bedroom was beyond annoying. why no socket next to the mirror for a hairdryer? also, after such inconveniences, one would expect a complimentary drink or some kind of perk, but alas, no special treatment. disappointing!

Staying at the Coach House was an absolute delight. The hospitality from the owners made my experience truly special. They provided excellent tips for exploring the local area and went out of their way to ensure I felt comfortable. The breakfast choices were fantastic, setting me up perfectly for long days of sightseeing. The beautiful views from the property added to the relaxing atmosphere. I did notice the mattress springs were a bit uncomfortable, which made sleeping a little tricky on some nights. Despite this, the attention to detail in decor and cleanliness was impressive. The property’s quietness offered a nice retreat after busy days out and about. The location was easily accessible, with great public transport links to Edinburgh just a short walk away. I would definitely recommend this place for anyone looking for charm and great service in a peaceful setting.
